The status quo for health insurers is minimalist investment in customers, maximum investment into political influence. Greasy palms are the face of public health insurance in congress. Genuine discussion about cost effectiveness and practical application take a back seat to the fears of equity in overall health of this country’s population.
All the debate about the launching of “Public Option” Health Care seems to focus on those who actually HAVE health care. Those with jobs, where their employer has pre-selected an insurance package, are being convinced their employer will dump that insurance forcing them to take the “Public Option”. OK! Perhaps that
