Was Dodd A Lacky For Bad Banks?

Democratic Sr Senator (CT) Chris Dodd on Budget & Economy – during 2008 Presidential campaign

Q: Pres. Bush proposes “mortgage rates for homeowners with spotty credit histories would be temporarily frozen under a nearly completed agreement between top Bush administration officials and a broad alliance of Wall Street’s biggest banks, mortgage investors, […]

Dodd: Two issues, one right and one wrong

Here’s another great post by McBlogger who is always watching the banking and mortgage industry.

Sen. Dodd has two items coming up this year, one is a reform of the horrendous 2005 Bankruptcy Act that made it extremely easy for lenders to foreclose on the homes of ordinary people, not to mention the […]

GOP Candidates Really Do Hate Veterans

Does it really shock anyone that the GOP presidential candidates are cold hearted, live in a parallel universe and are hypocrites? The GOP labeled anyone opposing Bush’s war as unpatriotic and sent troops to their death or to be maimed and suffer PTSD. And, while the GOP continually shouts that they support the […]

Edwards Tops Iowa Independent Democratic Power Rankings

It’s interesting that the MSM and many voters believe that John Edwards is consistently in third place. Thanks goodness the Iowa voters don’t listen to the MSM and the third place believers. John Edwards has scored first place by Iowa voter.

From Chris Martyn at Iowa Independent

As the January 3 Iowa caucuses […]

Democrat Debate Review

Well another debate where the moderators focusing their attention on Hillary, the elephant in the room. I appeared to me that Tim Russert was so focused on Clinton that he forgot to bring enough questions for everyone else. For all the anticipation and hype about Obama being more aggressive with Clinton, he seemed […]

Don’t Ya’ Just Love These Guys? Democratic Soap Opera

OpEd: Watching this debate, if you can call it that, I am getting personality overfill.

Again, Gravel is a hoot with a message. Gravel has a grip on the structure of politics and the underworld of politics as defined by money. He needs to write a book or teach […]

My Opinion Of The Democrats LGBT Forum

First let me say that for some reason BossKitty’s post on HRC Democratic Candidate Forum is not showing the comment number, however, there are several good comments posted.

Now my thoughts; I liked the intimate forum but the time for each candidate seemed very short. Wrong move for Dodd and Binden as no […]

Democrats Embrace Bloggers

Democrats spar at blog gathering

Seven of the Democratic candidates for US president have fielded questions from more than 1,000 political bloggers at an annual convention in Chicago. Correspondents say the candidates’ presence reflects the growing influence of such bloggers, seen as a key resource by candidates. The candidates’ appearance at the YearlyKos […]

CNN Debate Review

I loved the format. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but then neither were the candidates. The format was such a refreshing break from the same old journalist prepared questions. It put real citizen in the debate. I felt it made the candidates answer a bit more honestly. I hope this format continues.

[…]

Democratic Debate; My Opinion

Tonight CNN & YouTube will host the democratic debate, 7:00 p.m. EST. Personally I’m looking forward to this format; debates have become too scripted for me. The candidates won’t see the questions before hand. They won’t have scripted answers. The candidates will actually have to think off the top of their heads. I’m […]
