GOP Convention Out Of Touch With America
McCain’s choice of speakers show his non willingness to break from Bush and the past. McCain and the GOP, will open their dog and pony show with Bush, Cheney and Lieberman. The convention theme; “Country First”: 2008 Republican National Convention to Highlight Service, Reform, Prosperity and Peace.
The first night entitled “Service”
“Love of country, my friends, is another way of saying love of your fellow countryman.” Sen. John McCain
McCain’s “record of service and sacrifice and reflect his commitment to serving a cause greater than one’s own self-interest.” However, the cast of characters scheduled to speak about service have no idea what a “cause greater than one’s own self-interest” means. For eight years, George Bush, Dick Cheney have been focused on their own self interest. And, let’s not forget the biggest political opportunist Joe LIEberman.

To show just how out of touch the GOP and McCain are, Cindy McCain whose worth may exceed $100 million and Mitt Romney whose worth between $190 million to $250 million, Meg Whitman Ex CEO of Ebay whose holdings in eBay stock alone are worth $600 million will be among the prosperity speakers. Now that’s a true representation of America.
