There’s only one place to be tonight: the Turn Texas Blue Party!
Join TX Sen. candidate Rick Noriega, the Texas Progressive Alliance, the Texas Democratic Party, the Travis County Coordinated Campaign, AND TexBlog PAC — told you it’d be hopping — at Club de Ville on Red River St. It will be huge, everyone will be there, and you’ll get to meet all of us Texas folks that convinced you to come to Texas in the first place!
Afterwards, the after-party will be at Headhunters Club, a block or so down Red River, back towards 6th street.
Hope everyone can make it out! Here’s a look at some other activities going on tonight:
- Free cocktails with Obama Girl/Mochila – Thu Jul 17 5pm – Thu Jul 17 7pm, Media Room (Room 15). Free drinks + Obama girl. There better be some good pictures that come out of this party.
- Meet John Dean – 5-7pm, Waterloo Ice House. Author and former White House Counsel John Dean will be hosted by the North by Northwest Democrats. Map is here.
- Lightbulbs to Leadership House Party – 5:30 – 7:30pm, Austin City Hall. Hear from Washington Gov. Christine Gregoire and Sierra Club executive director Carl Pope on the potential of a green energy economy. Map is here.
