If you’re not satisfied with the front-runners, though, it’s still important to participate.Hundreds of thousands of people have given their lives in the line of service so we can cast votes without undue government influence. We honor that sacrifice every time we step into the voting booth.
Is there a perfect candidate? Probably not. But there has to be somebody out there who catches your attention, someone you believe can lead this nation out of a weak economy, deal with war in Iraq and Afghanistan or focus on the health-care debate.
If nothing else, at least go cast a vote in today’s county primary. The ballot is slim, but the urge to pick a presidential candidate might hit while you’re in the booth.
It is a privilege, so don’t waste it.
Lets hope MSM projections will contain themselves until the majority of precincts have posted results. After all, the polls close after 7:00 PM local times, all over the country. Sad to say, while everyone gets excited about who pulled it off in their state, the convention finish lines ultimately belong to the “Super-Delegates” who answer to no one. This is a broken system. This system has been modified as often as the Bible and is just as old. With news breaking before it is finished happening, America’s voters need a break from antiquated election systems designed for a turn-of-the-century, pre-instant communication population. The MSM has done its job marketing their favorite candidates, let the American voter make their choice without so many filters, like an electoral college that has been bought and paid for by someone you never heard of …
