Don’t count John Edwards out. Edwards is fighting the establishment and we’ve just begun. “Underdog” is the new TV ad that he’s running in New Hampshire.

I wish Edwards would adjust his message in two ways:
1) Attack the GOP more instead of talking about what he will do constantly, and
2) Instead of talking about what needs fixing, offer a happy vision of what we can be again.
He needs to provide more of that vision thing that Obama captures when he talks about hope and things being possible ‘only in America.’

I appreciate Edwards talking about what he will do..unlike Hillary and Obama who are obtuse as shit. For me, other than Kucinich..Edwards is the only one that tells us what he wants to do specifically. I hate just rhetoric and feel-good phrases personally.

His message is getting is getting heard and I think Edwards will pull through.

I’ve been saying it all day, so one more time won’t hurt.
Obama’s “change” message rings with the same hollow sound that Gary Hart’s “new ideas” did way back when. Like Hart, Obama can offer nothing up in his actual RECORD to back his assertion that he;s the candidate of “change.”
I’ll also say this, even though it pissed off a few Barackophiles the first time I offered it up-Huck has spelled out a more defined populist agenda of “change” than Obama has. That may be sad, but it’s true.
Folks, the rock-star stuff isn’t doing anyone any good. Why would we, as sentient beings, just blindly follow in the same vein as the Chimpletons, or the Ron-bots? It is our responsibility to make these guys articulate what they’re saying. And yes, that most certainly does include Edwards, who I favor at this time.

Well, I do want Edwards over Obama at this point precisely because he does bother to tell us what he will do JR. MSNBC has a comparison up between Obama and Bobby Kennedy. I can find the link if anyone is interested.
But Kucinich is still my guy.

Indeed, for almost one year Hillary has had the MSM attention as the new president, now only after 1 primary and great rally turnouts in N.H., Obama is the new pres. The MSM is again telling everyone what to do.
Considering the MSM lives in a bubble they have not bothered to recognize what all of us in the real world know, Hillary was not going to to well and the guys would pull through.
This is just the beginning and anything can happen. Edwards has been taking about change far longer and he is the populist. The MSM has gone out of their way to ignore him, probably because he wants to shake up corporate America. I have hope that slow and steady wins the race.
Also, it pisses me off that the MSM and Hillary are still saying that it will all be over on Feb 5th. I find that insulting too all the voters left to cast their vote.

I too prefer Edwards over Obama but they would make a good team.
Regarding Kucinich, I don’t dislike him, but there are things for me that make him unacceptable. One example would be Ohio, as their rep, Kucinich has not been on the band wagon once either in the MSM or on the floor of Congress to fix voting. You would think that this would have been a huge topic for him since Ohio has so much documented corruption in 2 elections. It would have gone perfect with his Constitution platform. Ohio still has voting problems and yet he is focused on Cheney at the debates. He seems to miss big issues.

John Edwards would make a perfect VP to back up Obama. He would. Gawd forbid , every diety in the universe forbid something should happen to Obama…Edwards could carry the torch so well. His numbers make that a reality..he will not be president..Obama WILL BE. soooo …..i am visualizIng a team and hoping that they will see the wisdom of this…..will it happen , who the hell knows. I could list reason why Edwards IF offered the position could accept it with great dignity – time will tell. This is one hell of an exciting day…gonna be and exciting yr..ONE thing for sure..I bet america records of voter turn out are blown out the water…yep.

the MSM is trying to come to billary’s rescue, but the people are not buying it..nope. Also i gotta confess, Kucinich has LOST my respect for many reasons. MANY reasons. so i am taking the practical , strategic route given the realities of our government and the countries current situation. What an exciting day it is…and this is only the beginning. wow just watching Obama hand a person a bottle of water during a speech…the dude has it going on …and i am lovin it !!!!

It is way too soon to cancel Edwards as the nominee of the democrats. Today starts the first primary of 48 remaing states and several territories that vote. We have only had one caucus and today is one primary. Two out of 53 primaries/caucuses does not make a winner.
Although Obama is leading today, Hillary could easily take over on Feb 5, which has the larges number of total delegate in the primary season. Edwards could also take over since many states on Feb 5 are of a more populist belief.
With so many states and territories to go, I will not count Edwards out and say his best shot is vice president. Adding up states with a small numbers of delegates could easily cancel out one large delegate state.
Even if Hillary and the MSM want to make Feb 5 as the nominee pick date that’s fine but that’s not the rules. All states get tallied before the convention not just last week, today and super Tuesday.
Don’t fall into the MSM hype of the flavor of the day. Remember Hillary and Rudy have been their first place picks/winners since Jan 2007. Now they are kicking them around.
