This morning i sent out the email link, to even more friends, with a brief explanation of why this is our moment. The Bill HR 333 is in the right committee and we have plenty of time for this process. I checked the the website wexlerwantshearings.com
Overnight - 4,000 more signatures. its now close to 110,000 -
This transcends parties, politics , This as Wexler says for history. The process, the hearings, will lance the wounds to the Constitution and reel in those in the excutive branch that have sneered at Congress. We must for the love of democracy continue to spread the word. WE need to see this petition get up to a million. It can be done. It must be done.

Consider my steaming mad, watching democracy now Conyers is back sliding beyond belief on the Impeachment issues in convoluting reasoning. I am so sick and tired of having these people yank our chain. He is so bought off, its not funny. He says there is not enough time - I call Bullshit. He calls distraction and harm to the Dimocrap party, I again call BS as does Ray McGovern who is standing next to Conyers in this interview. Message to Conyers WAKE THE UP and follow through. McGovern does say, i wonder if there is not crass political reason..ie fear of Fox News etc. Conyers already has the brief. But he (Conyers is spineless and too calculating) He does not value the constitution as he is holding hearings this morning on the CIA tapes. I am going now to see if these hearings are broadcasted on c span on line. He is saying not enough votes to Impeach, though Amy Goodman is saying over 54% of the people support impeachment of Cheney. Conyers is answering that he is afraid of stepping on Democrats messege….sigh. We the people MUST not let up on this. I don’t see nor understand what Conyers is so damn worried about - even if the impeachment does not succeed - Our Constitution demands We have do this and have hearings. (just shakes head) Will the Dems ever EVER EVER be unified. jeebus !

ok i just got off the phone with Conyers office :
202 - 225 5126 phone, 202 225 0072 fax
I spoke with a very nice young guy. who explained or tried the political calculus involved. I patiently explained that even if this should fai, that democrats are longing for a principled stand and that in fact EVEN if it failed, * IT would still be a feather in the cap of the Dems for trying and would bring new younger people into the party - he said “the dem caucus could fall apart”, i replied maybe it needs to, in order to set things right. That Constitutional principles should over ride all else. etc. And that Conyers is now endangering his credibility beyond belief. And that it IS this kind of behavior that has so many of us , despaired over the state of the party etc. Soooo the above link is to the entire house Judiciary membership , whom i am about to call one by one. I hope others will do the same. For more info on where Conyers “is at” in his thinking - see Democracy Now transcript or video stream, NY Texan this may require your high quality attention in a “next step post or follow up on Wexler’s efforts..just a thought.
Calling the committee and Conyers is now the next step.
I did tell the kid , that if they build it we will come, that the people will provide the wind beneath their wings. No matter what kind of “hay” faux news makes out of the Impeachment effort.

I feel that the Government and their administrations for the past decade or more has been deceiving and manipulating the American people, (Republicans, Democratic and Liberals)…it is time that the politicians stand up for the American citizens rights as they have been elected to do…they already get paid to do this, but they have yet to show us (the citizens) that they are and will protect our rights. The past seven years have been a nightmare from a Science Fiction movie, but it is not a movie, it is REAL.
Congressmen Wexler, you and a few other representatives have now shown me that you will fight…so I am ready to fight with you, as are millions of other Americans. But please do not ask for any more money from people who have none to give. The U.S. government has been taking that commodity away from US (all lower and middle income people) for over a decade. We are all struggling to survive living here in America. You can ask of me anything, and I will try my best as a patriot to fulfill the task, but not money. Thank You, Chris the Abducted Alien

Chris the Abducted Alien:
Well said. It’s sad that there are many in Congress, Pelosi and Reid included, will not stand up and fight. Instead they will abandon the oath they took and ignore what the “we” want and know is right.
Wexler and the members of Congress that stand with him should be applauded and encouraged to continue.
What Pelosi and Reid need is to be replaced. They have abandoned all of us.

George W. Bush’s sentence-by-sentence speaking skills are deteriorating. Apparently, this may be due to a mental illness called “presenile dementia.” Bush may or may not be secretly still drinking heavily. Bush lied, and thousands of people died. Bush suffers from narcissism and megalomania. Moreover, Bush has been arrested three times. Bush was arrested for disorderly conduct. Bush was arrested for stealing. Bush was also arrested for a serious crime—driving under the influence of alcohol. There are reasons to believe that Bush suffers from a learning disability. Bush’s learning disability would explain a lot of things. All in all, Bush is a severely mentally ill individual. Bush is not fit to be the president of the United States.
Bush should be locked up.
