Vast Nazi archive opens to public
AMSTERDAM, Netherlands – After more than 60 years, Nazi documents stored in a vast warehouse in Germany were unsealed Wednesday, opening a rich resource for Holocaust historians and for survivors to delve into their own tormented past.
The treasure of documents could open new avenues of study into the inner workings of Nazi persecution from the exploitation of slave labor to the conduct of medical experiments. The archive’s managers planned a conference of scholars next year to map out its unexplored contents.
The files entrusted to the International Tracing Service, an arm of the International Committee of the Red Cross, have been used until now to help find missing persons or document atrocities to support compensation claims. The U.S. government also has referred to the ITS for background checks on immigrants it suspected of lying about their past.
This service is offering the keys to millions of mysteries left behind by World War II. Truth should be free. Without all the facts, the public cannot make wise decisions. Withholding facts to influence uninformed decisions is criminal. Withholding facts to mask misdeeds of government is criminal.

I believe that after 60 years we will only see what they want us to see.The truth will always be blacked out as we have seen in CIA documents going back through the last 60 years.
Take the JFK assassination.Will that truth ever truly be
revealed.History has shown that the governments of the world will only show us what they want us to see.Or deem safe for us!

This was one of the most atrocious wars ever fought in the history of mankind. In every war and every battle their are always survivors, no matter if they try to cover up the atrocity. I believe that all of the documents should be released to the public to be seen. We have the technology to scan every document in posession and put it on the internet for the world to see. The passage of time has almost guarranteed that every person who had anything to do with it is either to old or has passed away. Let the people of the world see what a fascist government can do when it is out of hand. Maybe then we won’t have idiots like Armadeanajad of Iran trying to play the same game. Also if the documentation is available maybe he can get someone to read it to him.His ignorance is astounding.
His denial is insane. People like that psychologically can’t face what they see. They will deny all facts because they do not want to accept that what they are doing is something wrong or something that they are involved in is morally wrong. Instead of doing what is right for his people he wants to go down in history as a great leader, it makes no difference if he is wrong, he has to be flamboyent. So, if his name is not in the papers, he will do or say something to put his name in the media. He is really a pethetic individual.

I agree all documents from every country should be released for all to see. This was the most horrific evens cast upon humans and for some reason it seems more important to keep secrets than confront the twist and inexcusable behavior.
It’s time that the truth comes out, denial stops and all leaders realize that they can not get away with their delusional behavior

Look you cant be anti-govermental untill you dont have a better system to go by,you cant bring something down without having something to replace it,especailly when that something is something an entire state is depends own.
What Im trying to say,bring goverment down a dictator will take hold of the land.
Dictatorship can be a success only if there is a good man siting there,something that cant be done for every man will be drunk out of power and hurt anyone own his way to achive more power,you dont need history to know that,you just need a basic human logic.
And lets say one man came and he is a kinda of good leader (like Lanin)who say the one who will come next will be better?what can garuntee you that?nothing.
Kings you say? a sucsessor? well that better than Dictatorship and from Democarcey only in one or two aspects,but it can be bad as it can be good therefor its to risky.

Well im not expand too much about that for i dont know you,I will not tell you my religion for you not to think im trying to push you to my religion,but ill tell you that,there is one good religion one evil religion,one stupid religion,and one smart religion.
In that case it depends on what religion will rule,and if it will get a true acception.lets hope for the best.
