Barney Frank Endorses Hillary Clinton
Recently, Barney Frank has gone off the deep end with his decisions on bills and the presidential campaign. Frank’s recent mortgage bill helps the banks far more than homeowners, his half asses ENDA bill excluded the most important segment of the GLB”T” community and now Frank has endorsed (s)Hillary. As each day goes by it is becoming very clear that Barney Frank, through his decisions and associations, is in the pocket of K Street and Wall Street. I’m sure Rupert Murdock will soon find a friend in Barney Frank.
Frank’s sister just happens to be an adviser for Clinton campaign, so it’s obvious that Clinton is seeking to gain huge GLBT support and votes through Barney. With any luck this endorsement by Frank will turn those voters away from (s)Hillary since many in the GLB”T” community and mortgage brokers are furious with him.
- House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank (D-Mass.) is endorsing Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.) for president, Clinton’s campaign announced Tuesday.
- Frank, whose sister Ann Lewis is one of Clinton’s senior advisers, will serve as an economic adviser to the campaign.
- “I have from the beginning of this campaign believed that Hillary Clinton was the candidate best qualified to serve as president,” Frank said in a statement. “I am convinced that once elected, the qualities she will bring to the job — commitment, intellect and political skills — will make her an extremely effective leader in our effort to reverse the badly flawed course on which George Bush and past Republican Congresses have set this country.”
- Frank, one of two openly gay members of Congress, added in the release that he is “convinced that Hillary Clinton is the candidate best equipped to pass laws that will treat all Americans with dignity, fairness and equality no matter who they are or who they love.”
- In a statement, Clinton said she is honored to have Frank’s support, calling him “one of the sharpest minds in Congress.”

A more accurate statement about Barney ’s mind would be one of the most bought off sell outs out there in the house. He will betray his own constituency ..Hillary’s kind of democrat. I saw the endorsement last night and had to say well that figures. I guess she is looking forward to a ton of Human Rights Campaingn Fund dough too - even though she did the WORST at the logo forum. sickening isn’t it ?

Yeah pp, I had the same thoughts when I read this story. As you write, we can hope Frank’s endorsement hurts rather than helps her campaign.
Right now, hope is all we have.

Mirth you are so right. And so patient as well. The way the MSM plays it out - a few primaries will happen early our later ones…well one has to hope they will have some effect. Its all so damn rigged. Driving me a bit batty well i did not have to far to go. One thing for sure ..it takes a lot of digging , careful, I repeat CAREFUL reading - to get a full picture of anything at all political we are fed by the MSM. you know you got a good point..it could hurt her campaign..on the grass roots. i just wonder how many people really pay attention. Me i think i do…then find out holy shit how did i miss this or that…ie on Ron Paul etc. That money bomb caught my attention. and the liberal support he recieved..so i looked , but not close enough, not long enough till now. As i said. Dennis, Edwards, Obama, in that order for my primary vote. And one thing for sure. In a general. I will NOT vote if the choices are two evils. nope not even for the lesser. This empire is a runaway train. And believe me i smacked my own self for entertaining for a minute..but i did that Paul would help this situation ..oh huffpo he is very reluctant , his campaign to give back the Neo Nazi donations..whether he agrees with him or not..its a matter of ethics. Its all so insane.

I truly hopes Frank’s endorsement hurts Hillary. As I stated above Frank is in the pocket of K Street and Wall Street just like Hillary.
Of course the Human Rights Campaign will fund and promote Clinton, they have paid for Frank and this endorsement goes without saying that Human Rights money will go to her.

Rep. Barney “LGB, but No T” Frank is a fat, nauseating sycophant, who has been living off the public teat for too many years.
First it was his woefully flawed ENDA bill that passed with the starry-eyed approval of Speaker Botox. No wonder Frank sides with Botox against Dennis Kucinich’s effort to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney. He’s such a good, obedient boy.
Now, Frank is trying to pass legislation that will take away mortgage underwriting authority from the banks and place it under the strict control of the Federal government. This will mean as many as 1-in-4 potential borrowers won’t qualify for a mortgage because the lender will lose the ability to massage the numbers in favor of the buyer. But of course, Frank lives in a swell row house in Boston’s prestigious Back Bay district. What a fucking elitist pig.
And now he endorse AIPAC’s Queen, Hillary Clinton?
I say waterboard his fat ass. He only deserves the best.

OMG The FRank M.O. start out with a good bill , get everyone behind you , and strip it in the back room..this is now what he is doing to Licenced Morgage Brokers , the ONLY protection between solid lenders and solid buyers..that consumers have. !!! that Fuckwit..he has been there too too long. ..on a positive note….his big endorsement of hillary may back fire so badly in middle america - but to pimp to the banks…HAS HE NO SHAME ! I hope that he retires. He is completely co opted. ON so many levels. The poor morgage brokers..holy shit.. i am so sorry. I never brought a home, but ..i would need a reliable guide and that is NOT a real estate agent. So you can rest assured that some of the TGs he through off the bus were republicans too.
