In the days since the democrat debate, we have all been overwhelmed with Hillary Clinton is being ganged up on. Personally, I am tired of the two edged sword for Hillary by her campaign and her supporters. Clinton who wants to continually tell us that she is strong and can handle everything that is thrown at a president seems to be enjoying the spotlight of the “little woman”
Back in the 1990’s when Bill was having one of him affairs, Hillary made her famous statement; “I’m not sitting here, some little woman standing by her man.” Which we all understood took a swipe at certain woman while she tried to portray herself as Helen Reddy.
Fast forward to the 21 century, now Hillary Clinton, when confronted by other candidates, want us to believe that she is a shrinking violet and wants us to believe that she is being picked on. Give me a freaking break! It’s called politics and Clinton is running for the toughest office in our nation. Does anyone honestly believe that the GOP candidates would give a rat’s behind if they gave her a bloody nose? No, they would exploit it and Fox would replay it every five minutes.
When Obama was beat up on his Pakistan nuclear statement, I really can’t recall him saying: “the gang is picking on me because I’m African American.” Maybe Obama didn’t say that because he knew what all candidates know, presidential races are competitive and at times bloody.
The women who support Hillary have also stated that “she is being picked on,” “the men are ganging up on her because she is a woman.” I find that shocking that these so called progressive woman and self proclaimed feminists would even go down that pathetic road. For all their shouting and protesting since the 1970’s for equal rights, treat us the same as men; they are now playing the gender card.
While woman have tried to remove all stereotypes about themselves, Clinton and her supports promote it. It seems that the old adage “women will say and do what they need to get their way” has much truth in their defense of Clinton. Personally, I believe that many women are supporting Hillary because she’s a woman. This is infuriating because it shows that some women are not looking at the issues but instead they are only promoting Clinton because she is a woman. These supports have chosen to be completely void of information.
Voters, men and woman should be far more concerned that Hillary is running on her experience as First Lady. Yet we have not seen one document to back up all her achievement. For me that is so close to Bush not allowing his National Guard papers or his papers as Governor made public. But yet, he wanted us to believe him at his word. I’m not willing to go down that road with any candidate in my lifetime.
It’s obvious that Clinton and her well oiled machine have clearly distracted her supporters from a far more important issue; her First Lady achievement and the lack of documentation. They have also managed to distract supports from Hillary changing her story every five minutes or taking different positions in public and private. These are the true reasons the other candidates jumped on her.
Clinton and her campaign like many well oiled machines, speak in a fashion that is deceptive and changes in a New York minute. The campaign wants to focus her supports away from any controversy; Clinton’s ever changing statements, her positions changes and her First Lady records. After all they and the MSM have declared her the nominee before the first vote is cast. They can’t be wrong now can they?
