This is a disgusting situation for the health and nutrition of this country. There are so many “Open Federal Cases” aimed at poor inspections and poor manufacturing processes. Cost cutting is not an option anymore. As with China, the US has fallen behind in accountability. More and more, the cost cutting feature of corporations is a hazard to our health. This should be a Homeland Security issue! The cost cutting moves up the ladder to the White House. BushCo has cut funding to agencies who provide inspectors for food manufacturing. So few inspectors, so much food to inspect. The food the US ships overseas to feed our troops is also at risk! Bush buddies have all the food contracts. As we have seen, these contractors fall way short of accountability. The wasted $millions have disappeared into contractors pockets instead of quality product and service. The US is becoming a third world country by allowing our food, water and air to take a back seat to personal profit. The health of the US population used to be something to be proud of … now, health is a political hot potato that no one has the balls to fix. Why do we allow our politicians to play games with our health?
