Conservatives are 99.9% against gay marriage equity but, they look the other way when it comes to a child rapist like Freddie Freeper.

Can a Freddie Freeper fan step up and explain this?

Be prepared because anyone who knows me knows I don't suffer rightwingers and I always win a debate with one of them.

So bring it on.

Hey proudprogressive,

I was not knocking your idea. I really thought you were kidding (pointing out an irony) when you pointed out that they asked to be sent $6 before they send "free" kit --which means the kit is not free at all because you essentially paid $6 for it.

The idea is sound but just tax everyone $6 and let the government control the billions-- not a private foundation (a 501 3 c that they say it is)that does not have the same accountability or transparency . Who decides how this money is spend in this private foundation collecting $6 each from donors? Let's say billions are raised by this foundation. That is a lot of power as to who decides how money is distributed or invested before its spent.

But the money is not the only problem. It is going to take governmental control to set and then enforce equal time rules, amount of advertising etc.

Another way to deal with this is to define limits on amount of ads which then, by definition, limits the spending. But this means nothing if donations to the party are still allowed as a tricky way to circumvent campaign donation limits to individual candidates.

well no doubt on some level just 6 bucks may be re inventing the wheel..there are other groups out there no doubt..that are trying to bring about campaign finance reform.. It all about educating the public ..seems to me..and we have to educate the public about what a National Single Payer health Care program could be like.

Our corporations, the lobbiests, and all the politician BUT for Kucinich will keep this killing cycle going..Visualize Kucinich ! He is the ONLY ONE who truly gets it. Lets make him electable..

Christopher:
Fred won't debate because he doesn't know what;as going on. If the Law & Order writers prepare his debate answers he might show.

I'm with Proud, I don't see Fred going very far. I think he will be gone between the New Hampshire and S. Carolina primaries.

ProudP:
Hmmmm...I guess the 1040 check box is worthless because I may people use the EZ Form and I don't think it's on there. SO the alternative would be an organization to collect for public finance.

I am not knocking your idea, which I do think is good, I just thought it was a redo of what was already in existence. Now that you made me think about the IRS form check box, it does not seem to cover a complete audience. So Just six buck would fill that void.

well they may be nameless vultures..and it may be similiar to what is already in place. My concern and support is to forward the meme of publically financed elections. How many of our clueless country do not know what that 1040 box really means. what checking it could do ? We need to forward the question...so i do not regret my support nor my action kit which is on the way as well as my snappy T shirt...maybe it will provoke conversation and education.

As for Thompson what i gleen from my clicking through the MSM is that he is caught with his drawers down on a regular basis..just in the dark about current events - I do not see this guy being elected ..just don't see it happening...

Why is Freddie Freeper is afraid to debate? Is he so unsure of his opinions and beliefs? Is he afraid someone might ask him a difficult question like, "how many states are in the USA?" Or, "what year was the UN established and in what city?"

One thing is true about Freddie Freeper: he likes raping teenage girls. Especially, while he's still married. What a sterling conservative!

Christopher:
Fred is truly not the type to hit the books and figure out how to get us out of our current mess. He is obviously very lazy if he can't even do his homework on the campaign trail.

I agree with you on Reagan. All his deregulation and union busting, we are finally getting to see all of the monsters and problems it has created. Of course we can't forget that Bush has expanded our problems from several more decades. No more Republicans in the White House.
