BossKitty and I will be attending the funeral of our friend Holley Joe Walker, who BossKitty posted about on Sunday. Also, Mrs. Walker read the post and all the comments and left a grateful message for everyone.
We will resume posting on Saturday or earlier if we are up to it.

It was a beautiful service. Although the Marine Honor Guard flag presentation and the VFW Ceremonial Marine Honor Guard did everyone in.

We just returned from the funeral. We stayed overnight at his house to help out. The mortgage company is willing to allow a few skips while she challenges the VA/Federal decision to cut benefits. We continue to raise contributions to help her get by – her own SSA benefits will not carry the house & car both. This whole situation disgusts me. You will be seeing more about how our government avoids responsibility when they see a chance. Families are just treated like irritants.
I am going to research this topic until it cries uncle – then I will reveal the gory details. Every atrocity I uncover will be a match under my senator’s feet. My congressman is already on top of this topic.
