Cheney Lied About Wiretapping Program
I think we can start putting impeachment papers together for Gonzo and Dick. Heck lets pull Andy Card back for a few indictment charges. It’s interesting that this revelation happened yesterday but with the exception of Keith, the MSM is pretty quite about it.
Vice President Dick Cheney lied about his involvement in developing President George W. Bush’s controversial and illegal program to use the National Security Agency to spy on Americans.
New revelations show Cheney was hip deep in developing the policy, often overruling the objections of Justice Department officials and blocking the promotion of one official who disagreed with him on the warrantless wiretapping program.
Article continued and detailed in the Washington Post:
Comey’s disclosures, made in response to written questions from the Senate Judiciary Committee, indicate that Cheney and his aides were more closely involved than previously known in a fierce internal battle over the legality of the warrantless surveillance program. The program allowed the National Security Agency to monitor phone calls and e-mails between the United States and overseas.
Comey said that Cheney’s office later blocked the promotion of a senior Justice Department lawyer, Patrick Philbin, because of his role in raising concerns about the surveillance.
You have to love Schumer.
“Mr. Comey has confirmed what we suspected for a while — that White House hands guided Justice Department business,” said Sen. Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.). “The vice president’s fingerprints are all over the effort to strong-arm Justice on the NSA program, and the obvious next question is: Exactly what role did the president play?”

HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Why am I not surprised that Cheney’s paw prints are all over the illegal and unconstitutional domestic wiretaping program?
Isn’t this how Cheney has conducted himself throughout his 40 years in government? Slithering around in the shadows and quiestly thumbing his nose at the laws that define us as a people?
When the day comes that Cheney’s heart finally gives out, the world will be a much better place for all of us.

Well of course ole Dick is involved in this! He’s an evil man and will go down in history as the most criminal vice president our country has ever witnessed.
Did you hear that Lynne Cheney is being touted as the one to fill Craig Thomas’ Senate seat in Wyoming? He died and the democratic governor will have to choose between 3 GOP candidates (that’s how the law works in that state) for the position.
Lynne Cheney is a jackboot licking scumbag, but then again, Thomas was no angel either.

Christopher:
There have been so my thing that we know Dick has orchestrated, but this time someone finally said it.
I think Leahy & Spector should restore Habeas Corpus after Dick disappears to one of the gulags.
Kay:
Yeah this was pretty much a no brainier for every outside the beltway.
I read about Lynne C. but there is a Wyoming Representative that said Lynne has been in D.C. so long Wyoming doesn’t connect with her. Bet that guy gets invited to Dick’s next hunting trip.

Great minds, NYT. I think this will end up landing in the lap of Crawford Caligula himself.

I read today that Cheney needs his heart defibrillator replaced. Perhaps a patriot will be the surgeon.

The evilness of his very being may be getting to his heart.
